Hair Loss / Thinning Hair Clinic:

Laser Hair Loss Treatment Program

From Flash Gordon to Star Wars, lasers have been a science fiction staple. Today, we find laser technology in surgical procedures, CD, DVD and Blu-ray disc players, internet access technologies, voice and data systems, and yes... Hair Restoration Programs.

We are an affiliate of the Hair Loss Control Clinic (HLCC), which for the past 25 years has been the pioneer and leader in the utilization and application of laser technology to effectively combat thinning hair and hair loss in both women and men. So ladies, even if this is not for you; your husbands, boyfriends and brothers may be very, very interested!

So please, tell them about us and direct them to this page.

It's amazing, really, how laser treatments can restore, thicken and, incredibly, Regrow Long Lost Hair. In clinical studies, this treatment has an incredible 93% - 100% Success Rate in Restoring & Regrowing Hair.

This is accomplished at a fraction of the cost of surgical implants, and is the recommended maintenance program for those who have opted for implants. So, before you go under the knife, doesn't it make sense to first try the natural approach? But what is it, and how does it work?

Read further to get a general understanding of the technology and recommended treatment regimens, and to get an in-depth overview of the how's and why's, come to one of our Combat Hair Loss Seminars.

First understand what causes hair loss.

The hormone DHT (dihydrotestosterone) is largely responsible for male pattern baldness and baldness in women as well. It is essentially a byproduct of testosterone, a sex hormone in the male and female body. According to WebMD, DHT shrinks the hair follicles, leading to baldness.

DHT undermines the absorption of vital nutrients required for healthy hair follicles, which have resting and growing phases - without proper nutrition, their resting stages get longer while their growing phases get shorter.

In women it's a bit more involved, some of the major causes are:

Androgenetic Alopecia: an hereditary condition which, according to the American Academy of Dermatology, is the most common cause of hair loss.

Alopecia Areata: an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks hair follicles.

Lupus: an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system attacks healthy tissues (including the hair follicles).

Thyroid problems: hypo (too little) or hyper (too much) thyroidism. The thyroid hormone controls your basal metabolic rate, which impacts the growth of your hair, skin and nails.

Iron Deficiency Anemia: where blood does not have enough red blood cells and, consequently, has reduced oxygen levels throughout the body.

An Unhealthy Scalp: causes inflammation, making it hard for hair to grow. Other conditions such as dandruff or psoriasis can also lead to hair loss.

Excessive Styling: Over relaxing, styling, coloring or too tight braids and cornrows can harm your hair and scalp. Overuse of heat and chemicals can also weaken your hair, causing it to break and fall out.

Diet, improved nutrition and health products – which may include specific supplements, specialty shampoos and conditioners, scalp medications such as minoxidil and propecia – and Laser treatments, can dramatically improve, if not completely reverse hair loss due to any of these conditions.

How Do Lasers Fit In? and What Can We Do?

Light affects our hair, including how fast it grows. We have all experienced how our hair grows quicker during the summer, and this increased growth is due to improved blood supply to the hair follicles stimulated by the red light in sunlight. Our lasers produce a pure wave-length at the peak of red light in the visible light spectrum, providing the essential boost of pure red light at precisely the right frequency to revitalize and repair your hair, yet it utilizes soft lasers that use less energy than a 40-watt light bulb.

Laser Hair Therapy (LHT), or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a non-surgical, scientific approach in the cosmetic treatment of hair loss, thinning hair, and scalp problems. LHT has been tested for effectiveness and safety for over 30 years all around the world and is approved by the FDA for the treatment of thinning hair and to actually regrow hair!

Our LHT treatments utilize a device which looks much like a hair dryer,

surrounding your head with 120 therapeutic laser diodes which deliver light energy directly to your scalp and follicles. LHT functions on the same scientific principle as that of photo-bio-stimulation; laser light stimulates cell metabolism and helps to repair damaged cells. This breakthrough technology has been featured on national newscasts across the country. Physicians and Dermatologists are praising this new technology as an effective treatment for hair loss, particularly when used in conjunction with hair and scalp products such as Minoxidil, Saw Palmetto and natural DHT inhibitors.

Always keep in mind, when addressing hair loss, thinning hair, and scalp problems - There is no Quick Fix or Miracle Cure.

As such, We Employ a Multi-Therapeutic Approach utilizing laser technology, hair and scalp hygiene products, nutritional supplements with DHT blockers, and helping you develop healthy hair and scalp habits.

The Recommended Program:

Begins with an in-depth consultation which includes a hair and scalp analysis using a capillascope to show you the present condition of your hair and scalp at 50X and 200X magnification.

A typical program is 1 year, consisting of :

Two 30 minute sessions under the laser each week for the first 2 months,

Once a week for the next 4 months, and

Once every other week for the remaining 6 months

- plus a healthy regimen of nutrients and scalp hygiene products.

What can you expect?

End of month 2 - Stop Hair Loss.

End of month 4 - Thicker, healthier hair under our scalp scope.

From there, your physiology and adherence to your treatment regimen will determine how much and how fast your hair will grow, but

You Will Regrow Hair!
